Very shocked with the quality of this shoe. On top of this I was expecting the shoes to be delivered in 5-8 days but they came 4 days early! Astounding with how quick Tolos ships and I’m just impressed overall with the quality of the product. I have been wearing Merrell barefoot shoes, but have been disappointed with quality in some regard and these just blew those out of the water. After much research for my next daily barefoot shoe I kept coming to Vivo, but honestly I just couldn’t justify such a steep price for a barefoot shoe, then I started seeing Tolos in barefoot communities and was skeptical at first until I saw more and more reviews so it’s a no brainer. Additionally, for the price you just can’t beat it… you’re getting a water resistant shoe that can be cleaned by throwing into a washing machine… that’s just amazing considering brands like Vivo where you pay astronomical prices for a shoe that isn’t water resistant and that cannot be washed any other way than by hand. So keep it up Tolos! I will absolutely be a returning customer and am recommending to friends and family who are interested in making the switch to barefoot!

I’m a longtime barefoot shoe wearer… from vivo’s, xero shoes, flux, feel grounds and more. Tolos are my absolute favorite shoes with superior quality, feel and fit. Wide toe box which is great for full toe splay, no insole for a greater ground contact and feel, the white shoes don’t get dirt like my knit vivo and xero shoes. I love the tolos and wear them every day now. I could honestly sell my other brands and I have scooped these in the black color as well. Love, love, love these. Go buy a pair!

I love that this is an American owned company. This is an excellent athlesiure barefoot shoe with an excellent minimalist design aesthetic. I hope that Tolos can retain that as the brand grows and expands into other designs.

Suggestions:

I would like to see the standard laces replaced with adjustable elastic ones, like I did (see image) or just eliminates them altogether.

A thinner sole would be nice.

A more breathable mesh in the upper would be nice as well, while retailing the “edge” reinforcing piece, like at the toe. Keep the tighter weave for all-weather and 3 season use though.
