USA Returns + Exchanges + Refunds
Returns and Exchanges:
- We have a 30-day return and exchange policy. You have 30 days from the date your items are delivered to request a free return or exchange.
- To be eligible, your shoes must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn, and in original condition.
- To start a return/exchange, please email your order #, situation, and pictures of the upper and soles of the shoes to team@tolosbarefootwear.com.
- When your return/exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Returned/exchanged items must be sent back to us within 30 days of receiving your return label, or they will no longer be eligible.
- After your first free exchange on an order, you will be responsible to pay for the shipping for subsequent exchanges and/or returns. We will deduct this from your refund or send an invoice for the additional exchange labels.
Seconds
- All items sold as Seconds are final sale and not eligible for return/exchanges. This is stated on the appropriate pages.
International Shipping + Returns
Returns:
- We are opening up International ordering to customers who are interested in covering the extra costs (international labels, taxes, duties).
- On International orders, we will not be able to offer exchanges.
- If you want to exchange, please follow the return instructions for a refund, then place a new order.
- We have a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date your items are delivered to request a return.

- Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to provide prepaid shipping labels for international orders.
- Returned/exchanged items must be sent back to us within 30 days of us approving over email to qualify for a refund.

Ordering + Delivery
Shipping Costs:
- We cover all shipping and taxes on orders over $90. Under $90 we charge $5 per order.

How often do orders ship?
- Orders ship every evening Monday - Saturday
Do you have a retailer?
- No we are all online, we offer a free return/exchange to accommodate
How do shoes fit?
- True to size. If you aren’t sure your size, try your typical size and if you need an exchange you should be within a half size.
Do you ship internationally?
- Yes, shipping and duties will be calculated in checkout.
My order says “delivered” but it was not delivered
- This happens occasionally. Typically it has been marked as delivered but is still up to 48 hours away. Next, it may have been delivered to a neighbor. Lastly, it might have been stolen. Please check the above options and contact the shipping provider before reaching out to team@tolosbarefootwear.com so we can help you appropriately.
We’re sold out of your size
- Instead of "Add to Cart", the button will say "Notify Me" and you will be emailed when we have restocked. Some shoes may be discontinued. Check the "Seconds" page for lightly used pairs.
Care
Washing:
- The Archetypes are machine washable. Cold + Air Dry is best.
Water Resistance:
- The Archetypes have a lite-DWR water resistant coating for some elemental protection.
Damages + Defects:

- Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- If you have an unnatural wear problem in 90 days please reach out so we can make it right. We’re all humans too.
