The Canvas High is the new, original athletic shoe.

Canvas shoes became popularized in the early 1900s, and their simple versatility has made them a timeless style that almost every brand has drawn inspiration from.

Made primarily from cotton canvas natural fibers, the Canvas High comes in white and natural.

Stack Height = ~13mm

Fit

If you have purchased Archetypes, try .5 size larger.
(Size 9 Archetypes = Size 9.5 Canvas Highs)

Our size chart was made for the Archetypes, and we did our best to match the sizing for the new shoes to that.

The Soleil and the Canvas Highs were built on equipment with identical length and width specs as the Archetypes, but the Canvas Highs feel slightly shorter.

If you have not purchased Archetypes, which fit most people "true-to-size", your best bet is your typical size +.5.
If you are usually a 10, start with 10.5.

Exchanges are covered with our $3.98 package protection at checkout, so use that to swap for the right size (tried-on shoes must be in "New" condition so we can repackage and resell them- we are a small company!)

You may never transition to a thinner shoe than this, and that is fine!

    Amazing shoe

    I love converse shoes but they’re soo narrow and terrible for your feet. These tolos high tops have been an amazing replacement. I think they look even better to be honest. Can’t wait for a black version!!

    Sizing was tough, shoes are great

    The sizing is a bit off on these, I found the opposite of what’s posted on the site, they in fact fit larger than the archetypes but ymmv

    Thoughtfully Designed

    I was hoping to wear a bit longer before reviewing, but I'll make due. Fantastic toe box shape, an original take on a the classic canvas hightop, simple and attractive details. Most people who wear barefoot shoes know that it can be difficult for them not to look strange. The Canvas High has the halmark wide toe box of the barefoot style, but manages to make it feel like an aesthetically cohesive part of the design - the chunkiness of the shape works in the design. On a final note, I consistently have an issue with the seam on the outside of the toe box pinching my pinky toe in the crease of the shoe when flexed (looking at you Splay). The seam on these hits perfectly above the toe, making these the most comfortable version of this silhouette that I have found. If I could add anything, maybe a tongue loop for the laces to pass through. The tongue has a tendency to drift.
