The Soleil is an athletic, casual barefoot shoe with an upper made of Ripstop mesh, layered suede, and TPU accents. Built for versatility, this silhouette is made to look and feel great.

First and foremost, the Soleil is a performance shoe, but was built to bridge a gap between purely athletic use cases to more casual use cases.

Our first shoe, the Archetype, is a simple, sleek design that can be hard to style outside of the gym or athletics.

The silhouette of the Soleil will be a template for a variety of upcoming releases and will give us the opportunity to play with different color combinations, materials, and use cases.

Stack Height = ~13mm

Fit

If you have purchased Archetypes, try .5 size larger.
(Size 9 Archetypes = Size 9.5 Soleils)

Our size chart was made for the Archetypes, and we did our best to match the sizing for the new shoes to that.

The Soleil and the Canvas Highs were built on equipment with identical length and width specs as the Archetypes, but the Soleils feel slightly shorter.

If you have not purchased Archetypes, which fit most people "true-to-size", your best bet is +.5 sizes from your typical size.
If you are usually a 10, start with 10.5.

We think this discrepancy is from a supportive material in the toe cap used for structuring that part of the shoe. Within a couple of wears, these materials soften and it fits like a glove, and you may prefer that fit over exchanging for a half size larger.

Exchanges are covered with our $3.98 package protection at checkout, so use that to swap for the right size (tried-on shoes must be in "New" condition so we can repackage and resell them- we are a small company!)

    True to size - do NOT size up

    Generally a fan of these shoes, although they get dirty quite quickly! Tolos recommends sizing up 1/2 a size. I did as instructed, because I love my Archetype 2s (size 9). The 9.5s I received were honestly about an inch too long, so I had to return and order the 9s. Annoying, but I'm glad I paid $4 for the return insurance.

    Very good looking shoes, sadly too stiff

    The shoes look very nice and came in a beautiful packaging. They do run a bit small, and the toebox is rather narrow. The outsoles feel quite stiff, almost like hard plastic. Overall stylish, but not the most flexible.

    Love em

    I’ve had these for a few months now and they’re my go-tos for casual wear. They’re super comfortable, look great, and while I haven’t tested the machine washable claim yet, they feel pretty durable.

    Only complaint I have is that the laces always come untied, so double knotting them is necessary.

    Would love to see more casual options in different colors!

    These are really good looking and comfortable shoes. I think true to size. If I had to nitpick I’d say the laces are a bit long (contrary to the archetypes I have with laces that I think are too short).
