Description
When these Archetype 2.0s were made, the factory mistakenly added a backing to the bootie mesh that stiffens the opening of the shoe (shown in picture above). This same backing was in the mesh on the 1.0s, so these stretch similarly to those, but have the same volume as the 2.0. Users have found the bootie to relax after several wears.
Otherwise these are brand new and identical to the 2.0s.
These are Final Sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Ideally these are for existing customers who have already worn our shoes and know their size. If you do not know your size, you are assuming the risk of ordering "Seconds" shoes without the ability to exchange. (aka no harassing/threatening our customer service girl because you made a mistake).
International orders may be subject to taxes/duties which are out of our control.
Luv, Tolos

I was an avid Vivo consumer until trying Tolos. The Tolos toe box is wider, there’s more stability, & I can still feel the ground through the sole but not to the point that stepping on a rock makes me yelp out in pain. I’ve been wearing my Tolos for athletic training over the past two-ish years, both indoor and outdoor, and they’ve been perfect!

Zero Drop Sole is the way to go for amps. Can't wait to buy a white pair.

I picked up a pair of archetype 2.0 from the seconds section. I chose this shoe to replace a pair of xero HFS, based on a review by Jake from thatfitfriend. I've tried quite a few different barefoot shoe brands and I'm quite impressed by what tolos has been able to pull off with this shoe. The fit, finish, looks, performance ... All work for it. Only negative, I'm not a huge fan of the insole, it tends to shift around a bit and causes foot to spill over the sole of the shoe in lateral movements. I put a thin foam insole in from a different brand and it was near perfect fit with that little extra comfort. No more lateral shifting/spillover. Keep it up!

I own two pairs, one Black and one White. Barefoot shoes in the general are always comfortable but almost always look a bit ugly tbh. Tolos not only look better than any other barefoot shoe but are my favourite looking shoe that I own altogether. The build quality, comfort, appearance and performance in the gym is perfect. I can't speak highly enough of them or fault them at all.
